Auto starting Apache from OS X Server

Can anyone tell me why my OS X Server wil auto load the mail server app on startup, but requires me to un-check the sites (5) I host and then start the Web server app. manually?

Once started, I can then re-check the sites and they all work perfectly.

If I spent a lot of time sitting next to the server, this would only be an irritation. As it is, I travel extensively and can't re-start the Web server remotely.

TIA

Paul,

have you checked the error and/or log files for entries that would give you more information? On OS X Server... use the Server Status tool and then click on the logs tab for the different services... especially the web service and if there are errors on startup, they should be there.
