oscommerce - querystring won't work

I've installed php5 and mysql on my cube .
When opening oscommerce pages (for example the install page) it shows as it should.
But when I click the "continue" button and a string is added to my url, nothing happens.  I stay on the same page.

As if the string is being denied or not read.

Please help, I know nobody who can help me.

Re: oscommerce - querystring won't work

Having the same issue. Anybody with some advice? I think, it's an issue with PHP5, because i was able to install oscommerce when I was using PHP4 sometime ago.

If I find anything I'll post back...

yup that's it. OsCommerce and PHP5 don't mix, yet anyway.

A couple of people have apparently run into the exact same problem. Looks like the solution is to downgrade to PHP4 if you need oscommerce.

Re: oscommerce - querystring won't work

You can run both php5 and php4 on the mac. Marc Liyanage has a great explanation on how to do this http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/php/

I just installed php4, and now have OsCommerce running...  big_smile
